Just bought an '08' 1125r from Silverstone Harley picking it up on Saturday the 24th oct.
Absolute impulse buy as i have not even seen the bike apart from a picture.
Im told its a 1 private owner not demo bike, they sold it new and have looked after it ever since. Are Silverstone a good dealer ? its miles from me and Canterbury will be my local dealer, any good/bad thoughts on either ?
After reading as much info i can on these bikes it seems im in for a treat. Alway rode Kawasaki's and just sold my '58' ZX6-R to buy a proper bike not a Japanese missile without a personality
I think i got a bargin from Silverstone's, as mentioned bike is a '08' with just 3k on the clock. I paid £3995
What do you guys in the know think, steel of the century, or £4k headache now they have gone bust ?
