I am the lucky lady who is married to t965m, so have been lurking on here for a wee while.
Now that the OH has his Hypermotard, I get the XB12S cg all to myself! Although I work offshore, so let himself take it to work once a week when I am not home, to make sure it gets a wee run oot.
I love my Buell almost as much as I love my husband and was devastated to watch the video of Erik last week. I guess that I will have to lavish as much care and attention on 'Bob' as I can and make regular trips to Maz to make sure she lasts many more years for me. Unfortunately, I know a lot about looking after and fixing humans, but not so much about looking after and fixing motorbikes...so it might be a steep learning curve! I am pretty active on the 'Curvy Riders MCC' website and through that, I know there is a girly bike mechanic in our area, so I will be bleeding her ear for advice too.
Now that we both have a bike - and don't have to share any more, we might be able to get out and about a bit more to meet some of you good folks...just remember to make the ride-outs and meets when I am onshore!!
