Don't cut your original, save it for if you ever sell the bike.
Standard is best for sale as I'm sure everyone on here will verify.
Just buy an alloy one off Ebay or make one yourself. JB

Agreed.
Sorry l forgot to mention that l have my own spare for myself to doctor. I also have a working plan to try and adapt the existing licence plate, reflector and lamp holder.

My mate found us some LED tail tidys online hopefully fitting mine at some point this week , it really changes the back end I will post some pics as soon as I fit mine.
If anyone has a spare under seat tool kit for an XB9 in the correct bag I’m missing mine and I’d like to buy one , seen a few on eBay in America but the postage is more than the flaming toolkit !
