Hi,
just got myself a 2005 ulysses xb12x - been interested in Buell for a while now - and hope my new machine loves up to expectations - based in west of Scotland

got the workshop manual with the bike so just learning my way around - first job engine oil and filter and also new front pads

few mods to do for long term safety , Maz gearbox grease nipple , free spirits belt tensioner and oil pump drive gear :yup:

yes saw info about Maz gearbox nipple - can presumably find free spirit belt tensioner - what about oil pump drive gear

and V5 says 2005 so must be one of first

Welcome. Fun bikes!

I think you'll find the 05 is an '06 in Buell world..They did not do a 05. May have made them but they are an 06 XB12x.

Just changed oil and filter and replaced front pads - also note it has a Wilbers rear shock on it
