Hi all Just bought myself a 1125cr, my first Buell, had many v twins b4, the last one being a 749s (which I highsided at Rockingham and am now having my shoulder operated on in 10 days time) Only briefly took it out for a blast and to be honest was I was a little underwhelmed, seemed to be a delay on the throttle, not that quick and seemed to have a sticky throttle when cold? It has a K&N filter and Jardin exhaust and has allegedly been mapped and ECU flashed for the mods with Buelltooth (which I have) Being totally new to all this and being incapacitated for a number of weeks what do you guys recommend? Is it worth putting on a Dyno if so where? My local dyno guy BSD doesnt do em, so where would you guys recommend? Or what else should I be looking at? Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Ady |

Definitely doesn't sound right. Mine is an ultra-responsive demon and the CR should be even quicker! Call into the Emporium for a sort out. Best money you'll spend. BTW pics are always appreciated for new bikes ![]() |

"Sticky throttle when cold" tells a tale. They do need to be warmed up properly or they feel hesitant and gutless. When you first fire up you will see a warning on the dash saying "cold". Leave it to tick over (probably for a few minutes at this time of year) until the warning disappears then set off. Jardine exhausts also have a poor reputation among owners ......... poor build quality, poor performance ..... throw it away! Many will tell you to go for an exhaust from Albert666, it will be a thing of beauty but too loud for my taste. You would probably do best to refit a standard one if you have one. Performance is great they just rust really badly so could do with a coat of barbecue paint. Look to others for a proper technical response but I love mine and it should give you all the performance you need. Steve |

I have 4x V Twins; 2x 1200 Buells, 1 x 990KTM and a 1125CR with the fruity Albert pipe. The 1125 is deceptively nippy as the torque seems very linear. It's done 16000 miles and runs better with increasing miles. |

Hi, I'm down in sunny Suffolk and got my bike couriered up to Maz, the cost of shipping was quickly recovered by the cheap hourly rate charged. Maz is the main man (for good reason) and piece of mind is priceless. |
