I got an XT as well and found Carole Nash the best (they actually recognised what bike it was whereas Bennetts diidn't believe it existed. A real 'computer says no' moment)

Most insurers recognise the X but not the XT model! getting quotes from £280-480 at mo.. Thanks, Phil |

Most insurers recognise the X but not the XT model! Yep, that was exactly the problem I had, Auntie Carole were quite happy (once I'd explained it to them) to go and sort me out a quote for the xt. Quote sounds about right (but I only had 2 years no-claims) think I ended up paying about 300 quid fully comp |

i had a similar prob when i had a 07 night train at end of 06 ended up havin to use harley, was more expemnsive than it wouldve been elsewhere but once the year was up i swapped then |

Got insurance for £370 with breakdown cover etc..! Not the cheapest bike to insure but then I dont have any no-claims discount on a bike yet.. Phil. |

Of course there are a lot of variables but my 08, X fully comp is £200 with no no-claims allowed. I thought I was hard done by. Got a cheap deal on modified car insurance today from these guys - they do bikes to. http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/motorbikes-detail-go.php |
