Hi Lady's and gentlemen. I thought i should introduce myself to the group. Been riding since i was 7 ish now 50 plus and yes i am vain. Used to passenger outfit when i was 14 to 19 and yes illegally at 14 using my cousin licence. also kart racing from around 15 Upton 210 , 125 ,250 national then Inter class Yamaha 250TZ and finally250 Rotax twin. I had a fair amount of success karting. Trained has motorcycle mechanic and helped in my spare time with the tuning of karts at Uptons in the late 70's - 80's at Anstey. so still have the great love of two strokes and Castrol R. Looking for a 2 stroke to track day and Race at the moment. I have a best friend with a immaculate RG500 that he tracks and ex racer. Then had a time away from bikes due to children and wife Recent bikes. Triumph Sprint St1050 tuned a little. BMW R1100s Boxer cup prep 2001. But still in the Red has they came to Pidcocks for the Boxercup series. Remus Full system, power commander, Cams fitted, induction fixed , Steering damper , GS rear arm to make it turn in better and now Power brakes fitted. Still use in summer. KTM RC8R twin spark the Animal . White and orange Suzuki GXS S-1000 6 months old Yoshimura can and power commander. Front pipe on order. Soon to arrive Buell 1125r White and Blue Regards Rick |

Hi Rick, Plenty of 1125 owners on here with plenty of advise if required ...Buell workshop techs are Maz in Manchester and Buxton, Tubbs down south somewhere....But best of all, you can give your opinion on other peoples conversations on subjects you know nothing about... Did i see a blue and white one on ebay or trader the other day.?? Enjoy. |
