Hi i just bought my first Buell, its a 1125r signature 25th year special edition, both tyres need replacing, what would be the best tyres to fit, also if i require any parts in the future where is the best place to get them. This bike is quite different to what i have had in the past, CX500, 900 DIVERSION, HONDA SUPER BLACKBIRD, APRILIA 1000 RSV, PAN EUROPEAN(FOR 2 DAYS), FJR1300, as you can see a bit of variation, is the 1125r a reliable bike ? |

Thanks for the reply, i will keep an eye out on the weeping excuse the pun lol, looking at your photos you got a lot of exhaust for the Buell, i take it you make them yourself, if so how much would it cost for a stainless steel exhaust from the manifold on wards, also what engine oil do you use or would recommend |

Your can makes the Termis on my Ducati (which cost 4 times more) look like a schoolboy project ![]() As for oil, I use Motul Factory Line 15/50, because I have a big drum for the Ducati. Follow oil check procedure to the letter, or you'll get a false reading. The oil quantity given in the 08 owners handbook is incorrect, I forget the quantity that's now recommended. |
