Post subject:  Hello to Merseyside

Hi everyone

I'm new to biking, other than as a pillion passenger when I was a teen, but always had an interest which I never followed through until now!!

Test just passed and a Buell XB9R Firebolt bought as my first bike!! It's awesome :D . It was for sale in the bike shop where I was learning and I kept admiring it every time I walked in, as it's a real head-turner 8-) .
I was looking at getting the usual 'easy ride' first bikes, 600 Bandit, SV, Hornet, Fazer etc the Firebolt excited me the minute I sat on it in the shop and started it up!! wow!! :D It's got a customised stars and stripes paint job and looks the dogs 'nads' too.

I'm originally from the North East, currently living in Kettering, Northants, but moving to the North Liverpool/Southport area at the beginning of May with a new job and would like to meet up with some like minded (bike minded) guys and gals.

Look forward to meeting and riding with you all.

Welcome La (or is it Lee............http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnbiRDNaDeo)
A good start to a biking career, enjoy. :yup:

Kettering is not a million miles away (50 ?) from Newmarket where you'll find the best Buell dealer; Black Bear

If you can it would be good to pop in on Saturday 7th for the meet there,

you'll be made welcome and have the piss taken out of you in equal measure no doubt. (you'll even get a free burger I reckon.)

Nivana is a place where XBs meet their soggy end in a canal whereas Nirvana as well as being a good band in the rock-combo ilk is a place where many a Buelling type has found solace in having his bits fettled by an old wizened legend that comes under the old indian name of Bald Eagle from the Emporium in Dukensfield
