First post here I have just returned from a 550 mile round trip to pick up an 08 XB12 X Uly.
I hope to find a few bits/parts and advice here, from what I have read on the forum there is a lot of well informed guys offering help.

first question
I have a cable under the seat which is disconnected from a unit under the air box cover? what is this and what should it do?

Parts I need at first glance are
Front beak
Front mudguard
Handle bars (mine has flat bars fittted)

If any one has any of the above or can tell me the best place to find them please get in touch.
(I will also post this request in wanted items)

Looking forward to getting out on the Buell ASAP

Hi Zed1000 , welcome to UKBEG :yup:
the disconnected cable ran to the standard exhaust
most people disconnect them , after market exhaust won't have one
it activates a flap to quiet it down in the urban low speed area
& can put the check engine light on (cel) , depending how it has been done
see Pash's link below :yup:
