Just for your information I am a bit of an old f***

currently enjoying the merits of a 1125R but a little apprehensive of the suspect areas such as the clutch slave cylinder and loss of charge (voltage regulator defect) which have been repaired under guarantee.
Have joined the group following a chance meeting with a couple of members last week who had stopped at Bumpers Farm roundabout Chippenham on their way to the NEC. We had some friendly chat and they pointed out that the slave cylinder was under investigation as this was a design weakness and that the alternator (I think) also needed a modification. Hmmmm, methinks, is this bike going to cost me a lot of dosh in the future when the guarantee runs out ? ?
Then we talked about wheel bearings and the exhaust muffler as indeed the + merits of the machine as a whole - anyway, thanks for the chat.
I bid them farewell and got on my trusty push bike thinking, better go and order my vespa.
