Hi from a new member. I'm long term Guzzi/GS BMW rider trying something different. An 07 Ulysses. Due to the snow I've only managed a short blast round the country roads so far.
All good, but just one thing, the bike is fitted with a Remus can, does this mean I lose the jacking points?
Merry Christmas from the snow covered High Peak.

Yeah don't jack the bike up on the remus it will dent as it hasn't got the reinforcing/baffles inside like the STD can.

Oh and welcome! :)

Thanks for that, I thought I wouldn't be able to jack on the Remus. I have paddock stands, but really want the front forks dangling free, any easy suggestions? First bike ever without a centre stand!

Yoke stand?

Easy
Can you suspend the handlebars from the ceiling?.
I use 2 adjustable straps attached to the bars suspended from a beam in the shed.
To change the head bearings i have to remove the exhaust and then use a jack.

Hiya
welcome. I jacked on my remus since new, I made a piece of wood to the same contour as the remus - jack onto the wood. Not done any damage at all.

Mornin', has that industrial complex been built in Harpur Hill quarry yet? Do you happen to know if climbing is still banned there?
