Hi new menber here,just bought my first Buell, a Firebolt XB9, prob not a good thing to say but i have bought it to cut up as a one off, be good to talk to someone who has already cut one, dont panic every one have cut up bikes before ,i have a sportster bobber thats been featured in 100% biker mag may or june this year and always fancied a buel project all the best for now Barry

Aw, that's a shame, the Firebolt is such a beautiful bike.

A better starting point would have been a 2001 X1 :twisted:

Hi its not a white one light blue, i am not starting the work on it till the new year ,going to get some use out of it first once i have found a way to lower it as ime a real short arse, all the parts that come off i will advertise on here. all the best barry

Hi Barry,
Welcome. You are just across the water from quite a few Buelligans in the Portsmouth, Havant & Waterlooville area.

Shame you are going to trash the XB. :( I hope once you have ridden it a few times you may change your mind. Here's hoping...... :idea:

Hope you can get to some of the local meet ups and put a face to a name.

didn't the French bike buildrer ( Lasareth ?) build an XB
with a confederate style front end ?
