Hi all i have never joined a forum before, but i had a look at this one after the other half found it and i thought this is a good place to start for us to try and sort the problem on my bike, as you can see from my pic not to fussy which sort of horse power i have between my legs ;) as i enjoy doing both equally lOl I have been riding bikes since i was sixteen, as i lived in the country i needed means to escape, so as soon as i was old enough i went out and bought my first yamaha 50 (and boy was it bloody slow) i have had a few bikes since then and every one got faster :D so i go got a few years under my belt, i ride a Buell xb12scg now and love every minute on it i sure this bike was made just for me as it fit like a glove for my short ass legs :!: I am not one for typing to much on the forum but i do like to come here and have a read, might even be good if we could all meet up some time to.

I expect you are fed up with the problem with my bike as you have all been trying to help, if you look under scotties post (My other half) he has been tring to sort it out, the only trouble with us is that we love to ride, but when it comes to engines neither of us really know what we are doing :?
But we both try with help from people like yourselves :yup:

Interesting saddle you have there, Mrs Wife. Is it one of a 'treeless' type?
I'm thinking about getting one for my Nag. I've been told by our neighbour, they're not much good for jumping. How do you find it?

It's almost like not even riding in a saddle. It just feels so natural! I just LOVE my treeless saddle. Once you go treeless its really really hard to go back to any other saddle. it's great for long hacks, the saddle is a Barefoot Cheyenne The leather is soft and the under fleece is plush.

Just shows, despite our horsey interests, Had to google the saddle question :oooops: very :oooops:
Do most modern saddles not protect the shock transfer?

To be honest i just buy what i like the look of :D bit like the bike i know nothing of the workings but just love to ride it ;) i should know a lot more being bought up with horses as my dad was a racehorse trainer and jockey as was my brother was a jockey to, i went down the route of a motorcyclist first because it got me further away from home and the horse was more of a hobby.

..........but if push came to shove, you couldn't eat your motorbike, could you :?: ;) lOl
I've ridden a bit in the US and found their style a lot more relaxing than the 'English' style of riding. Mrs Adam, is getting into a lot more competition stuff these days, but I just like going out for an afternoon bimble in the hills (and I'm crap at riding lOl lOl )
