Just two weeks into ownership of my 55 plate Ulysses.
I normally ride a Evo engined Dyna Glide but wanted something a bit different, do a bit of touring etc....
Had a couple of issues already, one caused by a goosed battery and the other is a faulty neutral switch which I'll change when it arrives. What a place to fit a switch!
Also will eventually have to change the can as it's almost a bag of rust. I bet that's a bit of a nightmare with that valve thingy?

Overall, really pleased with the bike. It's great to ride and Buells have a bit of uniqueness (is that a word?) about them that suits me.

No doubt I'll be back with lots of questions at some point.

Cheers.

Aye Aye, You've hit the right place to 'enhance' your ownership 8-)
Make yourself a coffee, relax on the sofa and start using the search box mate, You'll find battery, switch and noise can advice aplenty :)

Welcome to the site misfit.
Information abounds here, whether you want it or not!
For an exhaust, look no further than an Albert, and you can simply disconnect the valve thingy and just leave it.

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
Sportster Mann, I'm from Bromsgrove, North Worcestershire.
Nutah, yep one and the same from HDRCGB. Not much Buell activity on the club site so I thought I'd come and hang out where the experts are
Those Remus cans cost a fortune!
I think I might have to wait until next spring :sad1:

I need something that's not too noisy as I'm hoping to ride around France next year. Don't want to attract too much attention...if you know what I mean?

Update....
The Albert is complete.
Sounds great, nice low rumble, not too loud and loads better than the stock can.
Looks real cool too! :D
