Hi I'm Drew in Scotland - owned a 55 plate XB12r for the past two years - great bike but have recently changed it for one of the two 'Bennetts Buells 1125r' that were created as promotional bikes for the 2008 BSB championships(google -bennetts buell- and the first hit will take you to a picture and a story about the bikes). Bike has been great so far - time will tell whether or not it will be as reliable as the Firebolt
(ps who owns the other one?)

Sheepy's advertising hoarding maybe the other one, I'm not sure of the exact livery of the Bennett bikes but it sounds v much like it... I'll see if I can trawl up a pic later.

Strangely no - i contacted Bennetts during the week as my renewal was due - i explained in detail the bike but they could/would not beat the premium Swinton gave me - so I now have a bike advertising Bennetts which is insured by Swinton ! strange but true - the first thing eveyone says when they see the bike is 'bet you got a good deal with Bennetts' but you better believe I let them know thats not the case - when you consider i am 51 with 25 years no claims i wonder what's going on - but that's their loss ...............no mods done but will have to change the Metzelers.
