welcome sounds a nice Buell 8-) :yup:

undo the fuel cap , overnight as it helps it vent
otherwise the vapour vents through the tank skin & bubbles the stickers
bit of Buell characteristic that :sun:

I never knew that? I thought it was something to do with the adhesive on the decals reacting with the paint?

Hi

welcome m8

only time you will get reaction is if base hasnt cured and you get vapour off solvent rising under decal, also might be best to apply decals over clearcote instead of clearcoting over decals, but whatever you do , do not be tempted to paint tank and then when paint seems touch dry to apply decals, gotta wait 24 hours at least on normal jobs,
would have thought with adhesion promoter and plastic primer properly applied, then you would not get vapours off fuel coming through if left for about 2 weeks or more before you put fuel into tank, or use PR-1005L at £115 per 5 litres to line tank.
