Post subject:  Newbie with a battery question

Hi all,

I have a M2 Cyclone (2000) bought it in 2002 from Sycamore Harley in Uppingham.
It's been "mothballed" now for the last 3 years due to HM Government's inability to run the Country's economy properly (No more "Boom & Bust" my ar$e) so unfortunately my bike came top of the wife's "unnecessary luxury's you can cut back on" list.
Anyway, finances are now well and truly back in order at last, so I (prompted by last weeks mini heat wave) have decided to get the "old girl" back on the road again. Problem is, the Battery's had it. So I nipped down to my local Bike Testing Station (conveniently a 5 minute walk away) to book her in for a test, and to see if they supplied batteries. They gave me a price of £95.00 inc vat. So, I decided that I should be able to get one cheaper than that on the interweb. I have come across a company called DK Online, and found one for £39.95 which is a very good price to say the least.
So, my question is, has anyone on here ever bought a battery from DKO, and if so are they any good?

I was speaking to a guy yesterday who used to live over Stoke way where DK motorcycles are based. He was singing their praises to the hilt and used them for all his bike needs. I think they are well respected.

Whilst I can't speak for using them in Buells.

These have been great in both my Hinckley Triumphs.
