It's not a case of people not being able to take it, most folk are a hardy bunch ... maybe they just didnt ask for it in the first place and/or grow very tired of hearing it .. :)

In a world where we are blasted with bullshit from every corner, it is refreshing to know that a bullshit free zone exists.
However, having said that, we are currently populated with a breed that only know bullshit. And a bullshit free zone can be an uncomfortable place for many.
I appluad integrity and the many, yet few places it originates 8-)

Welcome John J the 2nd or 3rd newbie from Essex.
Note that any post you may start could end up in handbag swinging, gauntlet throwing or dummies spat out about anything of any relevance or otherwise to the initial topic.
UKBEG is a great resource populated by some cracking people who have in the past proved just how far people will go to help each other for no personal gain. We can be a grumpy bunch especially in winter and the the master of grumpology actually has a heart of gold. Not all main dealers are the same and Black Bear in Newmarket are mentioned with glowing praise in MCN this week with reference to UKBEG rating them highly.
Good luck with the Buell, when you come to ride it I'm sure you'll appreciate it having done the rounds since your yoof. :yup:

facebook? it will bite you in the bum eventually; more hidden stuff in there than a Findus beefburger :old: I still use it to keep in touch with folks around the world, don't know why as emailing is probably better?

To Deepsix, Tigs, Barney and Matron. Thanks for the kind words. I can assure you I am old enough and ugly enough not to be put off by contributors replies. In fact, apart from the excellent pics some peeps have added under their names eg Tigs and Matron, some of the comments are quite witty. From my point of view the value of this type of site is strength in numbers and the pooling of knowledge. Just bought myself a genuine Buell workshop manual for my machine (cost an arm and a leg!) so hopefully I will be able to assist fellow owners now and again with some pertinent advice. Am getting a 5000 mile service on the bike at Black Bear this week in time for lighter evenings and improving weather - ever the optimist. If anyone reading this is going to Excel for the MCN/Carole Nash Bike Show tomorrow week say hello if you see me, will be wearing a triumph checked leather jacket rebranded Buell on the sleeves, shoulders and back.

Don't worry, it'll sort itself out, eventually ;)
