And well done on getting a 2010 model - they are rarer than hens' teeth - I think that the merkins are a little upset - it sounds as if all the 2010 models built were shipped to Europe ...

Lucky Bastid !

Nah still waiting in suspenders (I'm joking honest!), Riders must be sick of me calling but I drew my money down already. They told me I could cancel if I wanted.........as if!

I realise how lucky I am and it was luck because I wanted white and there were only two available at Riders, as it turns out by default it is a 2010 model. I wanted the high bar kit and to my pleasure I found that the clubman bars have been ditched on the 2010 model, otherwise it's a whopping £400 odd quid for the kit fitted.

Hopefully all the other issues that have come to light will have been sorted, lets find out.

Meanwhile Im waiting..................................................................................................................still waiting

Cancel that.....no firm date now as my dealer is still waiting on the contract to sign and they've ordered 51 bikes !

Thats the thing...everyone is taking deposits but apperently they havnt even got confirmation of what bikes they can get

Wrong....dealers can get confirmation of available stocks and reserve a bike from that stock very quickly.

Was my blazing matt orange ST3R seriously letting me down during the Buell challenge, John O Groats to Lands End in May 2009.
I'd only taken delivery of it at the end of March 2009 and it'd only done 1,066 miles when it dropped a valve, we hadn't even crossed the Scottish border on the way up to start the challenge back down again.
And before you ask...yes, it did have enough oil, yes, I had done all the pre-ride checks and yes, I am a girl but I had packed more than a hairdryer and a few skimpy knickers, though none of the tools I had would've helped me out of that situation.
I got a replacement bike (eventually) and have done about 2k on it since but it isn't a patch on a Buell.

Yup, point taken. Still, you can guarantee that because I sold my Buell and bought the ST3R I'm never going to live it down on here

Sorry to hear of your ST3R probs, I have a MBO ST3R, 2500 miles so far holding up, Im fortunate in that I can keep the triumph and just waiting for my 1125CR.
