1125's have the Buell quirky looks, fantastic handling and the one things the others do lack slightly and that is performance ............................. so if you want Buell and an engine that goes like stink it would have to be the 1125 ............... saying that i still often choose the X1 to go out on though due to the extra character

if you are a speed freak then nothing less than an 1125 is going to give you the kick in the pants u r looking for - at the end of the day the HD lump is still an asthmatic relic of the 50's and if you treat it like a modern computer designed turbine it will let you down expensively.

that being said if you adapt your riding style to make the most of the torque delivery of the old motor it will make you smile more than most other things ( of the motorcycle variety ) you are likely to throw a leg over.

they are not for everyone - try one and see if it works for you.

( of course if you have $40,000 to spare there is always an 1190, that will satisfy your need for speed )
