Welcome to the fold matey - plenty of Buell owners in good old Portsmiff.

Differences between the different XB12s - now there's a conundrum that I'm sure somebody else will be along very shortly to tell you about - now where's Jill when you need her - answers on the back of.... nope I reckon I'll stop just there :coat:

The long is as the name says a longer version of the standard S using a slightly bigger frame the scg is the opposite and more suited to short arses ;) due to having lower suspension.

Oi KEVMEAN!! Who are you calling a shortarse??? I am just vertically challenged.....Alright??? lOl

Ahem....where was I?

Welcome, Nick, to the world of Buelldom. I have a very lovely shortarse... oops, I mean XB12Scg, which means that those of us who are rather petite (take note Kev....PETITE!!!!) can also enjoy the experience of riding a Buell. :D

I live in Cosham (just north of Portsmouth, as you know) and quite often meet up with other like-minded Buelligans for a ride, a chat, a drink etc. etc.

Would be good to see you at the Southern Softies meet up which is posted in the Events and Rides section of the forum, and we have recently tried to vary the meeting point so that others can join in across the southern part of the UK. Doesn't matter what you ride, just turn up either on bike or in car (we meet up whatever the weather)

Hope to see you soon. :yup: :sun:
