Right then: my new toy has finally arrived!!!

To say I'm pleased is an understatement...you see: I bought the bike without seeing it so it was always going to be a surprise to see what I had actually bought.

Well, good news and bad news: the good news for me is that the bike is beyond expectation!
The bad news for you is that because it is better than anticipated I won't be selling the same bits as I was going to before...

So the official list of bits for sale is:

1 new carbon undertail
1 used set Millennium edition set headers (ceramic coat)
1 set of new LSL footpegs in black
1 LSL superbike handlebar titanium color
1 set of used X1 mirrors
1 used X1 ECM (N0326.K 98268 / EC14GCOBO
1 used X1 revcounter
1 used X1 speedo
1 new carbon clocksurround
2 used X1 passenger footpegbrackets
1 S2 topfairing resprayed in gloss black including frame, screen & headlight
1 used X1 lambda sensor

Other than that there will be a complete X1 wiringloom for sale soon and maybe a sadle.

I already to the lot apart and decided that I will start taking pics of new or finished bits and limit my restoration thread to the rebuild...

Cheers mate!

I will have to get the missus to take some pics because I'm fucking useless when it comes to things like that I'm afraid...

What I am good at is stripping bikes: it's down to a bare frame after a good session with motorhead and a couple of Corona's  :worthy:

Very amusing: took of the top rubbermount (front of the frame) and after removing it I noticed there was a rather large text on it...

Can anyone guess what it said?

No?

Well...

It said...

DO NOT REMOVE

Fucking had me and my mate in stitches! Why the hell would you remove it?!
Anyway, found a rather wonky rearpulley assembly wich has to be seen to be believed so I won't give it up yet, wait for the pics, and a couple of things that I'm not quite sure of...pics of that to come.

On the whole very very happy as most of it is in very good nick and that wich is not is easily sorted.

More later!
