Hello chaps and dames. Glad to be able to sign up on another Buell forum. I was told this is the best forum for Buell White Lightning info. Funny that the UK board has the best rep for the American Buell White L bikes. Great, you guys are very enthusiastic and I really appreciate that about the Brits.

Anyhow, I've been a long, long time admirer of the S-1 bikes and knew one day I had to have one. I just purchased a 98 S-1W and am full of questions.

This brings my current stable to 7 bikes:
1989 Honda Transalp
2002 Honda XR650R
2006 Husky 610SM
2005 Husky TC250 (300cc kit)
2001 Yamaha TTR125L (145cc kit)
1998 Buell White Lightning S-1W
1978 Yamaha RD400 roadracer

Glad you made it!
There's a lot of info in the tech section, in the how-to, and also in the (pre-site hack) archive section.

Welcome Brother Bueller, from an American in Germany with an S3T. I agree, I'm a recent join and these guys are really on the ball. They've checked once or twice and I'm grateful for the education.

Welcome to our world of irreverence and irrelevance and a bit of sense to boot.
One of the lads on here selling an S1w http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-BUELL-S1W-WH ... 3a5e38d88e
Obviously to much for him to handle.

Got myself one of them there S1W too, common as muck round here :yup:
