Saw one and copied it , yet to use it . A socket may suffice , but had a play on the lathe.

That looks like a very good way of doing it. I’ve checked out the £16 sets of wheel bearing fitting kits and the nearest size in them is 50mm.The gasket osd is 48mm. If you will pardon the pun, how big is your tool.
Can’t wait to see the replies.

Can I take it the other tool is for locking the drive sprocket?

Bottom one locks the pinion gear to get the oilpump drive gear changed, the other one locks the front drive sprocket although if still in bike you can try putting back brake on.
