Hi Chaps,
it seems that I cannot use my Googlemail (gmail.com) address in my profile. I am hence being forced to use my work e-mail in my profile which I'd like to avoid. Is it possible to allow the use of gmail e-mail addresses?

I added Gmail to the banned list for a while after we got a spate of Russian spam using the Gmail emails .. I can take it off again but if we start getting plagued by them again, it will go back on ... |

Is the blacklist only checked during registration? Can you register with a legit address and then change it in the settings to a gmail one? Are googlemail and gmail both banned? I have a googlemail.com address (as gmail isn't allowed in the UK due to an existing copyright holder) but I can receive email sent to me at gmail.com with the same account. Don't know if that works the other way. Otherwise don't be such a tight get and get a domain name that forwards on to your free account. That's what I do. Only £3 a year. |
