Re: Forum style survey
I hadn't even realised that you could change the style. i voted blue thinking that's what I use but it seems I actually use the subsilver jobbie and prefer that.
Thanks for the continued efforts.resurrecting the forum. You know it's appreciated although we don't often say so.
There is a place for both sites;here and Facebook. Each has it's benefits and faults. Sneering at one or the other is never really helpful.
I think many have lessened their involvement with Buells and even involvement in bikes this last year or so,
You don't know what you miss till it's gone.

Thanks for getting involved again Ash and giving up your time,
I was just remembering our conversation at Adams a few years ago when you mentioned about not having a bike anymore which makes it even more admirable you've got involved with the repairs that are needed to keep this place going

Re: Forum style survey
thanks ash
what others have said , whatever is easiest to keep this place going
I was on the old subsilver , just changed over to prosilver , yes its different and things have moved , but just a case of getting used to it ,same as any updates on computor or mobile phones .
interesting on the size of this site , and with the frequencey of issues we have having , I did wonder if the info could be stored / downloaded to local disc for personal reference and how to repair things in years to come . it would be a shame to lose the site and the wealth of information it containes .
once again many thanks for your help

User Control Panel - Board Preferences (on the left) - My Board Style (on the right)
For some reason the feature was off. Ive just turned it on.
Thanks, now switched.

Re: Forum style survey
I had no idea there was a choice of display either. Has always defaulted to subsilver and, as if by magic, today it's t'other one
Went through Control Panel to change back and haven't succeeded yet but I can live with anything
(succeeded now, you can teach an old dog new tricks
Just hit "Submit" rather than "Reset" followed by "Submit"
)
I use the other place a lot for all different groups and interests but I still visit here most days. It's been home for so long that it's difficult to leave it.
Really appreciate your efforts, Ash, you are a gentleman and a scholar

Re: Forum style survey
Thanks for sorting the website out Ash! I am a creature of habit and do prefer the old style but it won’t take long to get used to the different style, I am sure. I am happy to go with whatever works best for the site and for others. Take care
