Does anyone have a set of S1 downpipes going spare? They will go to a loving home! Dave |

A remark from a position of ignorance (like most of mine). I have a set of UK down pipes from a 2001 X1 if that helps. |

Dave from Scotland wrote: Does anyone have a set of S1 downpipes going spare? They will go to a loving home! Dave I am intrigued, are you expecting to get these FOC? Its just that I presumed that parts for an S1 would be expensive? |

The X1 pipes can be made to fit a slimline frame if you cut and sleeve them behind the frame rail. Much neater and you don't need a heat shield. I've done this on my M1 ![]() |

Lucky wrote: I am intrigued, are you expecting to get these FOC? Its just that I presumed that parts for an S1 would be expensive? LOL - no, not at all! I expect to pay at least the going rate (whatever that is). I am certainly not lexpecting anything FOC. I can, however, entirely see how my original post could be read that way. I think it has to be S1 headers, precisely for the reason that GM mentioned about the way they route around the engine / frame. Dave |
