after chatting with pash it looks like we have the low seat fitted to my missis xb12x , and its still a bit tall for her were looking at lowering the suspention , maybe she should have bought a xt but hey its done now plus its a very clean bike with only 825 miles on the clock looking for some forks and rear shock from a xt , ss or a stt ? any1 breaking a bike ect ? cheers Lee |

how do bud gona lower it buy swapping the suspension xt , ss, i think stt have shorter forks and rear shock if your about to swing buy bud i can compare your xt to the missis x ![]() |

STT has higher suspension than the SS models, dunno if it is as high as the X and XT though. STT is a pretty high bike - I'm 5' 11" and can't put both feet flat on the floor (until the wife gets on the back) |

will email the bloke to see what hes done , dont look right tho .... other than nailing some 4x2 to the missis boots were running out of idears i dont think the 07 seats gona make much difference , have u got yours fitted pash ? |

job done , just been and collected the lowered xb12x that was on ebay ![]() its loads lower than the other x we have , bugger thats another bike to our collection ......... may have to think about selling a few ........ well maybe |

the bloke had it done for him , its still got the original forks something about shorter spacers in the forks and a revalve again its the original rear shock with a shorter spring and a spacing block setup i didnt get much of a look last nite , i managed to get a lift up in a truck from a company i work for , got to manchester a half 11 , only took 2 hours 45mins to get home with 2 fag stops , manchester to shepton mallet ![]() i shall have a better look at whats been done over the weekend , but it rides well , no dipping on the front end under braking like a standard x , it feels a bit firmer as well very happy with it , just need to see what the missis thinks |
