I've a 2000 X1 with corroded fork tubes. I'm looking at replacing them they have gone below the yolks, aluminum is flaking for some reason. . Has anyone any for sale I could trade my Buell jacket for a good pair. my email is zuluradio@hotmail.com Thanks , Zol.. |

A new pair from the USA come in at £600 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/46095-99Y-460 ... T0GzjOyAUQ They've gone up a bit since I brought a pair in, Think I got them delivered to the door for less than £300. £600 is still a chunk of money but roughly the price of a decent pair of mountain forks and well short of the £1000 top end stuff to put it into perspective. And as they are new they wont need an overhaul factoring in. Hope this helps......DaveH |

I had a pair of fork rechromed last year by AMP (Hard Chrome) ltd. 01582571234 They were great. They wouldn't let me have them back till they were perfect, even though it meant going through the process several times - very high standard of work. Cost about £200 |

Tubes are 46139-99Y. Around £130 each with UKBEG discount. Give Riders of Bristol a call... |
