If I lived closer I would, my o/h is a motorcycle mechanic, (I know maz is the best with buell's ) so he will service it for me, but it's all up together only done 7000 miles, Cant wait to collect it and the sun to shine.

Servicing isn't really the issue, if you visit Maz he can advise on the essential upgrades unique to Buell eg his gearbox grease nipple, crankcase breather mod, sprung belt tensioner etc. A very well known and Buell friendly HD Dealer sent their chief spannerman for a masterclass with Maz a while back ;)
At 7k you NEED to check the wheel bearings especially if you don't know their history, and to do so, the wheels HAVE to be removed - unlike a lot of other bikes that can be put on a stand and have the wheel jiggled. Torquing the axle up to spec is also essential, otherwise the spacer in the wheel is easily crushed, leading to bearing failure again.
The primary chain tensioner will have bedded in by now, so check the chain tension as well. If the reflectors are still on the fork legs, pull them off (with a bit of heat) otherwise water will get behind them and rot the fork leg.

Enjoy the bike, they're loads of fun :yup: 8-)
