Seems like I have found the source of noise from the front wheel.....speedo drive has packed up (now missing the 'tang'

Anyone got one lying around in a corner or do I need to give HD more money?

I've managed to weld a new tang on to speedo drives in the past, it doesn't always work, but it's worth a try ;)

Preston HD said there was one unit available in .....wherever they get them from.....at £81

hmmmm nothing received yet and no response to a 'where is it?' email

Anyone know if harleyparts.co.uk are still trading or have a phone number for them, the only one I can find on the web doesn't connect to anything.......

Hmmm still no part or answer to my email........assuming it eventually turns up I won't be using them again.
