Yup something different and non Buell :D

To keep myself sane while laid up from my broken back I started playing with air rifles. Unfortunately I've now caught the collectors bug lOl
To keep things simple I'm starting with BSA's, like most British air guns, Made in BRUM :worthy: And only collecting guns older than me! so pre 64, 1964 not 1864 cheeky!!! Most airguns post 50's were built to lower costs and standards.

But there are collectors for most countries, makes and periods.
So I'm looking for anything oldish and cheap, bits, broken or otherwise. If not useful for me I may be able to trade for something that is.

If anyone happens to turn up some air gun gold, I'll happily tell them what it is and how much it's worth. rather than offer a fiver and make myself a huge profit. I can even assist in finding a buyer if that's wanted.
Helping to identify something unknown is always fun too.

But as so many of the collectors I have communicated with are into bikes, I bet a few of you have airguns chucked in wardrobes, cupboards and attics ;)

many thanks :yup:

Since I buggered my neck I can't lift a gun to my shoulder so I lent my air rifle to Norrie to deal with his rabbit issue. I'm not sure how successful it was though! It's too new for you, but it's a great gun for a springer - an Air Arms TX200 (I think-my memory is failing!). I've also got two CO2 pistols - not serious weapons, just for fun. I had a number of older Webley (Sp?) and Daiwa rifles and pistols over the years, but all long gone, just got my swords left!

:yup: Air arms TX 200 awesome quality, BRITISH Made :yup: Great rifles, lovely under lever, I've got a chinky copy.
I like collecting the old stuff but some new stuff is worth messing with, there's always rats that need sorting :)

That is where the real good stuff appears, I've got a mate who's keeping an eye open at his local for me.
I really ought to find what's going on near me, I've just got so used to going nowhere since the accident I sort of forget there's a world out there at times.

People pay good money for Gats :o

You wouldn't believe what some of the webley pistols go for  Crazy, people used to shoot them till they broke then threw them away. :(

I've got an old Diana .177 circa 1930's that I inherited, it was knackered when I got it, but after new seals and a good clean and oil it now works perfectly and surprisingly accurate......dispatched a magpie at 30yds

The old stuff is just so much more fun to shoot. Maybe just because they have so much history???
My 1910 bsa improved model d could have been bought as someone's 16th birthday present, then the poor bugger went to france never to return.

That's why so many of the pre WW1 bsas are available, with plenty being as new. Got put away and then forgotten about by the rest of the family. :(

Missed out on a Webley service MkII today :headbang: sold loads of 1125 bits last night, the gun's been for sale for at least 3months, phoned this morning and it was sold yesterday :sad1: GUTTED!!!
