Hey me again! Picking through the bits that my new S1 needs! Seems that I need a speedo pick up for the front wheel! Got a new cable and still can't fit it, bugger!! |

I think it depends on the speedo as well as the wheel size. As I told Pete, the last one I bought was about £30 from V Twin Mania in Scootland |

Might take mine off and try to fathom out a fix, as long as I can get the square peg to stay in the square hole I should be sorted!! Amazing how vodka makes things seem so logical!! |

  Right guys! Speedo drive repaired, see pic, had to modify by sleeving the broken drive, drilling and tapping the sleeve just behind new cable collar, fit 2 grub screws to retain cable, glue in new seal, loctite sleeve onto damaged drive! Hey presto!!
