Bought a Diesel-Moto "fender eliminator", as they call it in the good 'ol US of A. Due to the exchange rate it was much cheapness aswell. I sent a couple of e-mail queries and they were very good to deal with, delivery took about 2 weeks. Very pleased with how it looks on the bike. If your do a search I'm sure it's mentioned on one of the many tail-tidy posts. http://www.diesel-moto.com/newproducts/xb/buell-xbs-fender-eliminator.html (you will need to add a strip of red reflector tape on the number plate to be MOT safe) |

Have a look at Sabre customs they take your old one and re manufacture it for about £80 the fabricate the number plate holder and mount the indicators where you want. Seems reasonable to me ![]() worth a look for the price ![]() |

Hi Pol. Just seen your tail tidy request - it depends what you call reasonable and what look you want. I went for the Ilmberger carbon fibre from Adrenalin Moto - last look it was around £240.00 - I didn't like the real short cut-off look at the back of the pillion seat and this fits just nicely in between the original cheesegrater length and the seat rear. Easy to fit and looks the biz especially if teamed with built-in LED indicator/stops and neat rubber grommets in the unused indicator holes. A friend with a little electrical experience (Halfords Stereo Dept.) fitted it all for me in no time but if your'e the least bit handy should be ok for DIY. ![]() Hope this helps. ![]() |
