Yam R6 throttle tubes fit the housing, so maybe they have the same guide too? Didn't Beef have this problem some years ago?

Lots of people on oldskoolsuzuki use R6 throttle tubes to make a quick action throttles so it might fit but might not be what you want.

I did indeed have the same problem years ago.....

I caught the prob a bit sooner than Pash, filled the worn groove with Araldite and filed it smooth. This lasted probably 10000miles then the araldite came un-stuck and jammed the throttle wide open :!: :o luckily it was a favourite bit of road

I then sourced a set of later M2 switchgears from Tubbs and they plugged straight into the loom and have the bonus of a much smoother throttle action 8-)

Don't 1990s Triumphs have the same switchgear as Buells?

If you can sketch it Nick, maybe I can make it out of black Delrin or Nylon 66.

Thanks for the offer, most kind of you...

Think I have found a source of brand new ones. Will know by the weekend...

Had considered fashioning one from brass...
