 Post subject: Front Tie Bar Bolts

Current ride: X1 Lightning
Location: Robin Hoods Tree.
After having just bought an X1 n giving it a good clean to my horror i found the front tie bar assembly isolator bolt loose! :( on further inspection it was not loose it was snapped off in the head but glued in!!!! yes fecking glue!
so looking for 2x bolts to replace 1 of which will have to be drilled out. Harley can't get any until at least 2 n half weeks anybody out there got 2 spare? please make me :)
part No. AA0608.1CZ.

GB as your location is not very helpful......do you want to be more specific :roll:

I've got loadsa those bolts in stock........however, be advised that you will almost certainly need to remove the cylinder head and have the broken bit sparked out.

.......and when you've done that, send Spondon 440 a PM and ask nicely for one of his billet mounts.

BTW, that part no. is actually AA0618.1CZ but has superceded to AA0722.1CBZ and they're 8 quidish each.

Well guys got the bugger out, welded a candle on to the broken bolt (which was broke off in the barrel) then welded nut onto that, steady turn an out it came. Over the moon as it only took 1hour to do the whole job. Thats £40 instead of who knows! and back on the road for tonights ride out, finally some good news and we going down to Newmarket saturday.
