That's my old bike minus some original parts and plus some nasty stuff. It still has the oe S3 stainless silencer on it. I see it has only covered a handful of miles since I sold it in 2005.
If anyone wants more info about it PM me.

Are you going to have the EBay one Lucky? Looks like a bidder has pulled out, dropped below it's reserve again...

Not for me Pash, its just too used. I have been looking for about 6 months now, and have concluded that if you want one with 20,000 miles and 4 or 5 owners there is a plethora of them around £2k. Yet the 1 owner 2000 miler still eludes me!

Does it really matter how many owners a bike has had?
I normally change one of my bikes at least once a year, each bike, whilst belonging to me is looked after very well, serviced and usually pampered with goodies. A one owner bike, owned by an idiot with 2,000 miles could be in a much worse state than a 5 owner 10,000 mile bike.

One owner is good but I'd be wary of a 2000 mile bike. It'll most likely need a lot of work.

I find that bikes with many owners tend to go through the "purchase/cover with aftermarket shite/throw away the original bits/sell within 18 months" cycle rather too often. Rarely do these bikes ever get the big services done properly because that would eat into the mini indicator/hypercharger budget.

Buells seem particularly susceptible to this.

I was the 5th owner when I bought my S-1. It was 2 years old at the time.

Number of owners and to a degree mileage is irrelevant. You want a sorted, loved and regularly serviced model.

I thought about letting mine go the other day but seeing these prices I doubt i wouldt get what I would be looking for.
