That stuff looks good, Kev. But it's not pretty and when it's on, it's on.

We're after something for the X1 and are thinking of this -

http://www.bykebitz.co.uk/motorcycle-lu ... a-bag.html

It looks as if it'll take plenty :yup: As you know, in our case that's important ;) I'm hoping it'll work with any of the bikes :D

Cooter had that stuff and it didn't last JoGLE on he X1. Straps came unstitched...

Bag fell apart, leaked like a sieve and marked the rear seat frame on the X1. Apart from that it was great.
Got a refund and bought some BMW expanding panniers.

The BMW vario panniers were expensive as they were connected to a 1200GS and it hasn't put a foot wrong yet :D

Ah. Had one. Boring, didn't make me smile when I opened the garage. Mega reliable and capable but just bored me shitless. So changed to Buell and Ducati - not stopped smiling since :D

GS and X1 are a perfect match for me, might try a Yamaha Tracer next after the GS.

My best pal picks his up in April and it does look a lot of bike for a great price, on paper they go very well too.

There was a Jofama tail pack on eBay. Wasn't very old and looked like it had a few holes in it. Wasn't very inspiring

Jofama arrived yesterday. Stuffed it full of stuff and tried it on the bikes. Perfect on the X1, good on the Strada and ok on the SX. Plenty of straps and some waterproof bags but no instructions - Google is your friend and there's plenty of info around :yup:

Proof of the pudding and all that. We'll see how it goes :D

Haha, silly me, April fool!
For a minute there I almost thought you'd bought one (despite all the negative feed-back and contra advice...)...

I hear you Rik, but I'm going on the advice of someone who's used it for years on his S1 and swears by it. I've looked and can't find anything else that looks like it'll do the trick. Life's a gamble sometimes :D
