If it were me - I'd not spend that much on a harleyesque solution. Really.

Question is are ALL stock pipes 'e' marked? I have got my eye on a old german one on ebay that is up for £200 delivered....there is that one in uk as well I am watching...christ more hand luggage....

Also Chris, I am going to shit the 15 day return to station with problem rectified.... Do I have to go through the same process again, or will they just check the defects?

Normally it's the WHOLE test as it's a certificate issued on THAT day.

I've only skipped through once when the Citroen had "issues" with the soot levels - Engineer told me to go and give it a good thrashing and was lucky to land the same guy 20mins later when I returned.

German one will be "e" marked. The only reason I mentioned t'other was it was a Stainless one. Maz might know - I'm sure he'll have seen imports!

If you had (when you have) more time you could get the original gutted by Tubbs or somebody.

Coño pues no se - ¿porque no vienes a Madrid, tronco?

Long Term - I rather fancy ending up as compost on one of the smaller islands. La Gomera for example.

Don't knock Tenerife, there are very chilled out bits here...not playa de las americas, I still haven't been there...

I'm planning a tour of all 7 islands...

Will catch up in Madrid sometime, when I am drifting through...

We love the roads through the El Teide National Park, and Sundays are the same in Tenerife as at home, in that the roads are filled with bikers enjoying a spirited ride. Makes us feel most envious... :sad1:

We always stay in Los Gigantes, but not sure I would necessarily like to ride my bike on the road from Santiago del Teide, through Masca to Buenavista del Norte, an incredibly twisty and narrow mountainous road. :ill:

It would be superb on an xb9 or xb12, you need the short wheelbase ;) , will tell you what the X1 is like when it gets past ITV stage....
