I'm considering putting my original headers back on and having a tubs modified exhaust. At this stage I'd like you know who, if any, would be willing to sell theirs and for how much? Must be STD not modified please.

Must fit 09 XB12ss

Short answer yes. Nothing decided yet. Tubbs recond his modified exhaust + STD headers = good running bike without reported problems. At this stage I'm considering all options including prices

It's just gonna rust.
Even camcoated it will just rust, only it will take 6 months instead of 2.

I have a brand new in box Buell muffler - never been on a bike. Guess what? It's rusting.

I have a standard 08 Uly exhaust and headers. Can has been recoated by the dealers but both are standard unmodified.
I think the Uly exhaust is the same as the ss.

If they're cam coated etc all they do is rust from the inside.

Unless you only do long trips so that the exhaust dries out inside. Exhaust fumes and moisture are a potent mix that will eat through Buell grade steel quite quickly ...
