Location: Telford
helicoil only about 1 - 2 mm thick .
other option retap hole then get or make some threaded alloy bar to fill hole (loctite in place) re tap to std size

Really appreciate all the advice guys, I have found a man that is gonna sort it , like Nick advised he is either going to weld it and tap again or use an aluminium insert and tap that to correct size. Hopefully it works , if not - new head . Gonna chance it anyway , he seems extremely confident it will work. And he will re machine face for mount
