Seem to have lost my Quill mounting brackets for the XB belly pan. You know, the stainless akward looking things that you need to mount the belly pan off of if your not using the original silencer.

Has anyone a spare set they don't need?

Thanking you all in advance muchly :D

Simon

I (may) have some lurking in the shed. If I can find them, you're welcome to them BUT please don't use them, they'll break before you get to the end of your drive lOl . Hopefully, you'll use them as a template to make some more out of of a more durable material - like glass lOl

Yes, I remember the originals being a bit crappy, just now I've got the black bodywork on I'm going to cover the front exit pipe up and I'll be damned if I can find the originals in my very very tidy garage :?

Sorry mate, just had a good rummage in the shed and couldn't find them. On the plus side, I did find a unit Triumph 500 engine in a box that I forgotten about, and a gearbox from a bike I've never owned (fortunately lOl ), a Panther I think. God alone knows where that came from :?

The bottom end and gearbox would, but I think the TR5T had slightly wider ratios. The top end of the motor has been 'de finned' to run on methanol. I think BSA B50 cycle parts would be more suitable than anything Triumph. When you eventually get up to Deliverance, you'd be welcome to have a root around for anything useful. There might be a gasket set kicking around you could have :yup:
