If you kept your wheels on the ground more often, you'd know what I mean ;) lOl

It would take a big hump in the road to have got the OLD Beef off the ground ;)

I did have a similar experience on FUBAR, I hit a rise in the road with the throttle pinned to the stop, as I approached I thought "hmmm, the front wheel may pop up a little bit over this", what actually happened was far, far cooler.....the throttle is pinned, speedo is 110 and rising, I hit the rise and the front wheel goes vertical, I am left staring at the fuel cap!! I snap the throttle closed and nothing happened!! I dabbed the back brake and the front came down gently and chirped on the road. My mate was well impressed, he said the cars going the opposite way were all staring-I had to come clean and admit that as cool as it may have looked, I FUCKING SHAT myself (almost!). lOl lOl lOl

I never can hit that rise with the throttle pinned now! lOl

Really, I find the opposite…S1 looks nice but is a dog to ride compared with an X1, which is a much better bike.....

  :yup: well said!

Oh....and I should have mentioned, an X1 isn't nearly as good as a Ducati!

I'm faster down the track to my gaff on the X1 than I am on the 1198 lOl

....and both of those get beaten by Paula on a horse.....

Not if the S1 is properly sorted. Granted the seat is small but if your ass fits on it then your fine. The X1 is just too tall it feels like your sitting on top of it rather than in it. Granted the X1 forks are better than the S1 forks and that is why I have a set on my S1. Each to there own. Also the S1 just feels like a much smaller and lighter bike. I might ave to weigh them both to see if thats just a perception or not but a small tank S1 is certainly slimmer than an X1.
