PostPosted: 03 Apr 2014 20:43
Im after a new seat for my xb12s its 2004. The current seat says M0090.1ac. It also says for the high version i need mod ... M0090.1Ad.

Im almost 6ft and my legss are a little squshed on the pegs so thought i would start with a higher seat. Does the seat of any of the other models also fit the xb 12s. It has a central latch at the back and 2 on the sides.

Maybe someone can explain

If you're struggling to find one why not get it recovered and reshaped. There must be somebody near you that does it, I had mine done by Tony Archer in huddersfield to my own spec.

Thanks for the advice..wasn't sure how that would work out....and after all when its done wrong you will have a constant reminder of either how good or bad its been done ! Was it expensive ? And what material did you get it done in? I thought not to use leather as it would suck up the wet ?

It was about £100 from what I remember. He used the same material as the original only thicker. You can have different finishes , I went for a dimpled finish on the seat and smooth on the back.
