I know someone not far from you in Stowmarket with an 09 in black with 28k miles. Fitted with a Remus muffler and has a Maz breather mod. It's in good condition but not mint and he's being realistic in his price expectations. £3500

Steve

I am 5.10 and owned it three years, I covered 20000 trouble free miles, I would challenge anyone on an X1 to catch me, I know I wouldn't catch me on my X1! And yes I can touch the ground on it
I just want the later motor, a more comfy seat, and heated bars but yes a little lower would also be nice.

With a bit of luck I will be at Black Bear tomorrow for some X1 bits, if I don't make it tomorrow I will be in later in the week, could you have his number please.
Thanks for the info :yup:

As far as the heated grips go i just fitted a set of Kies chicane heated grips on mine as after 35,000 miles the originals were getting to smooth to hold.
Sipmpy sliced them into the original wiring but they are designed to run straight from the battery.
They have a really nice tacky feel to them, similar to the GEL pro grips crossers use and simply take out a lot of the vibs and are effortless to hold.
Only in Needham so can pop round and show you if you wish
Have bloged a quick review on "my randomness of old age" page but must add a couple of pictuces soon
Hope this helps

If we ride free.... why is petrol so expensive....
