as the title said, looking to buy an X1 for a project....mod status etc not important....don't care if it is an old nail or a gleaming and delicious example......must be "good value" ... if you actually want to get rid of one I have cash waiting....

Stupid question, but does your project require a whole one, as I may have an X1 engine for sale?

What Ho Eric,

Not stupid at all, but I have several spare engines already thanks.... just after a complete bike as it save shopping around for all the niggly little bits.

Been clearing out one of the shed's, just discovered two complete race kits still in their boxes that I bought a few years ago along with mountains of other stuff that I had forgotten about... along with plenty other "special" bits.....

Later!

Thanks Gents, really not in a hurry to get one.... didn't even think that I wanted one until I unearthed loads of Buell bling out of storage and sure it will stand about for a while before I get round to it anyway..... house now just about ready and slowly recollecting all the "stuff" that got dispersed when we moved to Paradise Island………still got several to go but been a bit busy of late!

Not that there is any defence for such slack & shoddy behaviour but it was an “Appleism” ………I will have to endure the shame.......
