Lonely male would desperately like to meet unattached Ulysses XT for fun and frolics. Willing to travel for ideal candidate, and can offer a warm and cosy garage (actually that's true - just had the central heating replaced and had a radiator put in the garage! How good is THAT?)

I'm after a low miles if possible, along with a black engine/footrest model in any colour.

Someone out there must have one!!

PS - If you're the German gentleman who pipped me to the post with the last one, you could make a small profit very quickly if you got in touch..

No XT thoughs Ash ;) .................... It is a shame that all the Buells are going to Europe but they will continue to do so while everybody here has a false sense of value .......... price is all down to supply and demand and it is obvious that UK buyers aren't paying the market value ........ if they were then the bikes would still all be here .....value isn't just what you and the guy around the corner think it's worth , it is what the market as a whole values it at and now the market for motorcycles include Europe whether we like it or not. So next time somebody puts a bike up for sale before you all put off potential buyers by slagging it off as too expensive just remember after it went to Germany it obviously wasn't .

I wonder if (when) the Germans move on to the "next best thing", somebody will start bringing their unloved Buells back to blighty ?

Christmas has come early for me..with a veeeery nice low miles and well cared for black XT. Not cheap, but they're becoming very thin on the ground & this forum is and will continue to be, invaluable in that regard as time goes on.

It's not yet in my garage so excuse the trembling hands.. :D
