Does anyone have a set of frame protectors for an 1125R that they no longer want and are looking to swap for cash?

Whilst I like the German carbon-fibre units, I am still in need of both my kidneys and Mrs PU and the child won't go without food for a month to allow me to buy some.

Alternatively, if anyone could point me in the direction of a more cost effective supplier I would be very grateful.

Thanks to one and all.

Uly frame pucks will fit the 1125 frame and are available from any good Buell dealer, a lot cheaper than the carbon ones, and probably about as useful too ...

Thanks for that.

I have these on my Uly and had decided to do something different on the 1125.

As you say, they are probably just as effective and a lot cheaper.

After some more Googling this morning I have found a company in Slovakia who manufacture a set for the XB at £130 so this may be an option too.

Still open to suggestions!

XB ones will not fit the 1125 models ...

... assuming you are talking about something like this ...

Won't the scoops protect the frame?

That is only for the right side, you will also need the left ...

Indeed they would and there's nothing to protect them.

Was just looking for a cost effective way to protect the frame and paintwork for as long as possible.

They do a very good job but i have seen pics where the frame has just got slightly scuffed above them hence why the CR also wears a pair of Ully frame pucks ;)
Carbon frame protectors will be mostly hidden behind the pods anyway.
