I'm looking for a throttle spindle for a XB12X Ulysses but a hole throttle body will do. Has any one got one spare or know of one for sale?
thanks NAT

You found the problem then?

This seems to be a common failure on BadWeb. Someone started making replacement ones IIRC.

Seen someone's advert somewhere for a new throttle body, and also a pic of one that broke at one of the butterfly screws . Not sure whether all FI models are affected, how common the problem is, and what mods can be done to stop it happening . Obviously a bit of damage to the valves would occur if a screw and bits of brass were sucked in from a disintegrating spindle .

Will the body from a R6 fit?

I've just realised what a stupid reply this was. I was rushing through the Posts at work, and assumed you meant a twistgrip assembly

Please ignore me in future lOl

once a machine set up to do a batch then shouldn't take long to make and therefore price should be ok :yup: only problem is Badweb say very few failures IIRC 6 so is there a market out there that would buy them ?
